P32: HiVoltage
The brilliant harmonic overtone effect that some of those
high-gain tube-effects, pre-amps, and revamped amplifiers have in common is a
sort of sound that is achieved by a pre-amp tube like the 12AX7 when driven at
high voltage. The EQ2 GAIN on Knob 3 will allow you to boost/cut the mids around
the 800Hz frequency band by +/-12dB. Good for "boom and sizzle" type backings
all the way to mid-boosted leads.
