P53: ShadowDly
A tape echo effect modeled by Yamaha's DSP technology. The
delay effect is loose and easy just like the analogues. But that's not all. This
patch also simulates the distinctive transitions in sound quality that occur when
using analogue tapes. Turn the LEVEL (Knob 3) full up, and witness the presence
in the sound that could usually only be realized through the use of analogue tapes.
At default setting, the effect is so subtle and light that you would want to use
it throughout the song on both lead and backing work.
