P27: VinClean
A clean tone effect with a chunky, clingy nuance; distinctive
of those low-gain tube amps of the 60's. Sounds clean when played with a single
coil pick-up, but takes on a light crunch when played on a Humbucker. The knack
to creating a clean and fat sound is to set the GAIN (Knob 1) a bit lower than
the position where the distortion would start to kick in. This needs to be adjusted
in accordance to your guitar's output capacity.
